(دَبَى) -ِ دَبْياً، ودَبّى: دَبَّ.
(دُبِيَتِ) الأَرضُ: أَكلَ الدِّبَى نباتَها. فهي مَدْبِيَّةٌ. ويقال مَدْبُوَّةٌ أَيضاً.
(أَدْبَتِ) الأَرضُ: كَثُرَ دَبَاهَا.
(الدُّبَّاءُ): (انظر: دبَّ).
(الدَّبَى): الجرادُ قبل أَن يَطيرَ، أَو أَصغر ما يكون من الجراد. و- النحلُ. ويقال: جاءُوا كالدَّبَى: كثيرين.
(المَدْباةُ): الأَرض الكثيرةَُ الدَّبَى. (ج) مَدَابٍ.
